Agung Darmawan's main practice encompasses financing transactions, banking products advisories and corporate M&A. With a comprehensive understanding of the Indonesian laws and practical experience in representing clients in various types of transactions, Agung can help you and your counter-parties to structure and complete your commercial transactions in the most effective and efficient manners and in compliance with the Indonesian laws and regulations.

In the last eight years, Agung has actively acted for a number of foreign and domestic banks in providing syndicated and bilateral loan facilities to Indonesian companies and the Indonesian Government as well as restructuring their existing loan facilities. Agung has also advised various financial technology companies from their establishment to cooperation with various banks and financial institutions. In 2013, Agung was seconded to the Compliance Division of Bank of America Merril Lynch which added his practical knowledge on daily banking activities.

While in corporate M&A sector, recently, he actively advised both private equity firms and technology start-up companies in Series A to Series E funding. He has also advised private and publicly listed companies in various merger transactions.

Advising Rabobank, BTMU, SMBC and BNP Paribas on a US$ 240 million loan facility to a group of agriculture companies in Indonesia and Singapore.

Advising Standard Chartered Bank on restructuring a US$ 1 billion loan facility with group of Indonesian coal mining companies.

Advising Goldman Sachs on receiving assignment of receivables from various banks in relation to a syndicated loan facility to an Indonesian publicly listed company.

Advising Bangkok Bank Public Company Limited, Thailand on a US$ 60 million loan facility to PT Barito Pacific Tbk.

Advising Bangkok Bank Public Company Limited, Thailand on a US$ 60 million loan facility to PT Barito Pacific Tbk.

Advising Bangkok Bank Public Company Limited, Jakarta Branch on an IDR 200 billion loan facility to PT Sinar Medika Sejahtera (Grha MM2100 Hospital)
