Rachael Collins focuses her practice on intellectual property and commercial issues. Her unique engineering and military background makes her well-equipped to tackle complex technical issues on an accelerated timeline, while maintaining attention to detail.
Before joining Hogan Lovells, Rachael served 11 years in the United States Navy. Originally an enlisted nuclear mechanic, Rachael earned her commission and was among the first women to qualify as a Submarine Warfare Officer. While attending law school, Rachael worked as a judicial extern for Justice Sheryl Gordon McCloud at the Washington Supreme Court.
Rachael has broad interests in supporting her community through pro bono efforts. She not only enjoys helping community members establish their intellectual property rights, but she also has a strong interest in advocating for veterans and people with disabilities.
