A landmark partnership

We recently signed a partnership with the Paris Bar's Solidarity mission to create a legal advice service at the Constantinople 2 emergency accommodation center, run by the Aurore association.

The partnership is a first of its kind, with the firm being the first law firm to sign an agreement like this with Paris Bar Solidarity.

The agreement will see a team of three volunteers (a lawyer from the Paris Bar focused on law concerning foreign nationals, another of our lawyers, and a member of our business services team) meet with people housed at the center who request a meeting. This monthly meeting will be an opportunity to respond to their legal queries and to support them in their administrative procedures.

The Aurore association's Constantinople 2 emergency accommodation center, located at 25 Rue Constantinople in Paris' 8th arrondissement, seeks to provide immediate and short-term solutions to urgent needs by offering basic necessities (overnight shelter, meals, hygiene, etc.) to homeless people, or those who suddenly find themselves without housing, and to newly arrived refugee or migrant families. The center opened in March 2017 and welcomes families and women on their own or with children. Currently, there are 156 people staying at the center.
