As an associate in our IERP Group, Cia Ai Eng focuses on energy and infrastructure projects. Her experience is broad and includes power generation (hydro, thermal, renewables), transport (railway, airport) and sports facilities. Cia Ai's particular interests are project financing and public regulation, which explains why she enjoys advising clients on challenging IPP and PPP projects. With a background in construction litigation, Cia Ai has honed a sharp eye in spotting potential disputes. This certainly lends an edge to her advisory work. Cia Ai works intimately with our Japanese clients on outbound investments.

Advising Japanese trading house on construction contracts and arrangements in relation to the Western Dedicated Freight Corridor freight railway which will link Delhi and Mumbai.

Advised a Japanese engineering firm in the tender process for the construction / revitalisation of a major railway station in Indonesia.

Advising a major Japanese construction player in relation to acquisition of a Singapore biomass company with business operations in Vietnam and the Philippines.

Advising a Korean telecoms company in relation to bid submission for BOT concession of power station and transmission line in Mongolia.

Advising PT Sarana Multi Infrastruktur (Persero) on the pre-feasibility study for the Soekarno Hatta International Airport to Manggarai Rail Link PPP project in Jakarta.

Advising an Indonesian regional port authority in relation to development of container terminal facilities at the largest port in Sulawesi.
