Christine (Christy) E. MacGregor

Christy MacGregor's practice spans white-collar defense, internal investigations, and complex civil litigation. She focuses on the healthcare and life sciences industries, with experience advising clients on internal compliance with federal laws, assisting clients to navigate discovery challenges when responding to government subpoenas, preparing clients for depositions, and representing clients in qui tam actions and class actions.

Christy also maintains an active pro bono practice, primarily dedicating her time to efforts upholding reasonable gun regulations. She also drafts amicus briefs on behalf of firm pro bono clients in federal court, and has successfully helped a client to appeal the denial of social security benefits. Prior to joining Hogan Lovells, Christy served as a law clerk for the Honorable Allyson K. Duncan of the U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit. While in law school, she was the managing editor of the Georgetown Law Journal's Annual Review of Criminal Procedure.
