Christian Steudtner

Christian is a German qualified senior associate in the Alicante office focusing in intellectual property law, in particular European trademark and design law. He advises clients in English, German and French. Christian's experience includes advising on trademark oppositions, cancellations, pan-European trademark portfolio management, pan-European clearance, and appeals before the General Court in Luxembourg. He acts for a number of well-known brand owners in the construction machinery and television industries. Christian studied at Ludwig Maximilans University Munich and Université Paris II Panthéon-Assas where he obtained a Licence en droit.

He holds an LL.M. in intellectual property law from the Technische Universität Dresden and Queen Mary University of London. Christian was admitted as a German lawyer to the Munich Bar in September 2008. Before he joined Hogan Lovells he worked as a patent litigator for a reputable law firm in Munich.
