Rama Mohamad Jawad

Rama M. Jawad focuses her practice on mergers and acquisitions. She began her Hogan Lovells career as a summer associate in 2015.

While in law school, she served as an articles editor for the Michigan Journal of International Law and gained valuable experience as a student attorney for the International Refugee Assistance Project.

She is passionate about pro bono causes, particularly those related to immigration and refugees. She served as part of the emergency response team that assisted detainees at John F. Kennedy International Airport after President Trump issued an executive order to severely limit immigration from seven Muslim-majority nations. She and another associate also assisted a transgender client residing in Saudi Arabia who sought to immigrate to Canada to escape persecution.
