Brittainy Cavender uses her analytical background to help companies in the energy sector navigate the complex regulatory landscape. She began her career with Hogan Lovells as a summer associate in 2017.

She brings a unique perspective to her practice, having worked as an operations research analyst for the U.S. Air Force (USAF) before law school, where she helped develop models to calculate the life cycle cost of USAF weapon systems, analyze USAF capabilities, and determine recruitment and retention needs.

While in law school, Brittainy worked as a student attorney in the Entrepreneurship and Intellectual Property clinic, giving startup businesses and nonprofits legal and business advice. She graduated magna cum laude and received the Dean's Leadership Award in recognition of her outstanding leadership and service to Washington University in St. Louis School of Law.
