Carla Wiedeck covers a wide range of legal fields and advises clients from various industries, as diverse as companies from the air freight, life sciences, retail and catering sectors. She focuses on corporate and antitrust litigations, especially in respect of manager's liability.

Before qualifying as a lawyer in 2014, Carla completed her legal clerkship at the Higher Regional Court in Düsseldorf. During this time, she deepened her knowledge in commercial public and antitrust law while clerking for the European Commission and gained industry insights when she worked for a major German energy supplier.

Since 2010, Carla has been acting as mentor for Justitia Mentoring, the women mentoring programme of the law faculty of the University of Freiburg. She continues this engagement in her professional life and forms part of several international women's networks.

Representative experience

Representing an international airline in proceedings relating antitrust damages claims arising from the European Commission's decision in relation to the Air Cargo cartel.

Advising an international franchisee in various disputes concerning corporate, real estate and franchise matters.

Defending a German medical engineering company against claims from owners of participation certificates (Genussscheine) and shareholders.
