Carla Wiedeck focuses on defending clients in mass litigation as well as disputes with a compliance or corporate angle. She is also experienced in dealing with issues around directors’ and officers’ liability. She advises clients from various industries such as aerospace and defense, automotive as well as technology and telecoms.
Using state of the art legal project management, Carla has coordinated litigation cases involving a four-digit number of claimants. In addition, she plays a key role in the continual development of our legal tech capabilities. She and our team know how these are best put to use in our cases. Moreover, Carla has a deep understanding of the automotive industry and is a core team member of our global diversified industrials sector group.
One of Carla’s strengths is her ability to communicate clearly and efficiently. She translates complex legal issues into precise business language. When Carla represents her clients she always thinks ahead, anticipating the other side’s moves to protect her client’s interests.
Since 2010, Carla has been acting as mentor for Justitia Mentoring, the women’s mentoring program of the law faculty of the University of Freiburg. She continues this engagement in her professional life and is a member of several diversity inititatives and international women's networks.
