Camille Pecnard

Camille's legal practice focuses on the transactional and litigation aspects of intellectual property law, in particular authors' rights, patents, trade secrets, trademarks and unfair competition/parasitism. He is often involved in national and multi-jurisdictional IP litigations and alternative dispute resolutions (mediations) for French and international clients. Camille was admitted to the Paris Bar in 2006. He holds an LL.M. in intellectual property and information technology from Bond University (Queensland, Australia) and a Master's degree in Business Law from the University of Paris II (France).

He frequently publishes articles on various IP topics and he is notably a member of the French Association des Praticiens Européens des Brevets (APEB), the French group of Association Internationale pour la Protection de la Propriété Intellectuelle (AIPPI) and the French Association des Praticiens du Droit des Marques et des Modèles (APRAM).

Assisting chemical industry leader in high density plastics in enforcing patent regarding a high performance polymer, after organizing and supervising a saisie-contrefaçon in factory.

Assisting and representing a Taiwanese smartphone leader against one of its competitors regarding multijurisdictional patent infringement claims seeking permanent injunctions against its products.

Assisting a major car manufacturer on a patent infringement litigation launched by one of its subcontractors regarding patents on suspension shock absorbers.

Advising and representing the US leader of online secured payment within the frame of software litigation launched by a French developer.

Assisting various international companies of high renown within the framework of anti-counterfeiting activities in connection with the French Customs authorities and French courts.

Advising French electricity and civil nuclear activities leader regarding due diligence of intellectual property rights carried out for key industry acquisition.
