Caitlin M. Russo
Clients look to Caitlin Russo to provide key guidance in the areas of antitrust compliance and antitrust merger and litigation counseling and advocacy, particularly in the healthcare industry. She uses her substantial experience and insightful knowledge of the healthcare industry to work on a number of mergers, counseling, and litigation matters involving hospitals, physicians, and health plans.
Caitlin also has experience counseling and representing clients on similar matters in other industries, such as publishing and technology. She has successfully represented clients before the U.S. Federal Trade Commission, the Antitrust Division of the U.S. Department of Justice, and various state attorneys general. She also regularly counsels clients on Hart-Scott-Rodino Act filings.
She is one of the American Health Lawyers Association Antitrust Practice Group's Leadership Development Program fellows. She is also an active member of the ABA Healthcare and Pharmaceuticals Committee.
Caitlin clerked for the Honorable Frederick J. Martone of the U.S. District Court for the District of Arizona and interned for the Honorable Richard J. Leon of the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia.
In law school she was a note and comment editor for the Catholic University Law Review and a constitutional law teaching assistant.

Antitrust counsel to St. Louis University in its acquisition of St. Louis University Hospital from Tenet Healthcare and joint venture with SSM Health.
Antitrust counsel to Inova Health System in its creation of an innovative pediatric joint venture with Children's National Medical Center.
Antitrust counsel to Holy Spirit Health System in its integration into the Geisinger Health System.
Counsel to a health insurer in private antitrust litigation with another health insurer.
Represented a large hospital system on proposed acquisitions of professional groups and additional facilities.
Counsel to HarperCollins Publishing in its acquisition of Thomas Nelson Publishing.
