Cailin Lechner provides guidance on complex regulatory issues to help pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies achieve their business goals.

Cailin advises clients on Food and Drug Administration (FDA) review and life cycle management, compliance with current good manufacturing practices (cGMP), and advertising and promotion compliance matters. She also has experience conducting internal investigations, drafting citizen petitions, and preparing regulatory filings.

Cailin's practice focuses on issues concerning product development and regulatory exclusivity and FDA regulatory compliance and enforcement. She also advises on FDA regulatory issues arising in corporate transactional matters and filings with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), and issues related to submitting and responding to requests under the federal Freedom of Information Act (FOIA).

Cailin began her career in Philadelphia, where she became well-versed in the details of white-collar criminal defense and government investigations, while also gaining experience in civil litigation.

Prior to joining the firm, Cailin served as a law clerk for the Honorable Eduardo Robreno of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania. She has also worked with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency Region 3's Office of Regional Counsel and was an executive editor of the University of Pennsylvania Journal of Law and Social Change.

In addition to assisting clients in the life sciences and health care industry, Cailin is also active in the firm's Pro Bono practice and works to resolve housing and disability benefits matters for indigent clients.
