Damian Bugaj


Damian Bugaj
Damian Bugaj started working at Hogan Lovells in June 2017. Prior to joining Hogan Lovells he worked for two years in the tax M&A department in PwC. Since joining the Tax Department, Damian has participated in projects involving proceedings before the tax authorities and administrative courts, and has provided comprehensive tax and legal services to both domestic and foreign business entities.

His professional experience includes advising on tax matters related to CIT, VAT, the tax on civil law transactions, and real estate tax. Damian has a deep understanding of restructuring transactions including M&As, spin-offs, sales/purchases of businesses, and real estate transactions. He has also participated in tax due diligence projects.

Damian supports clients in their contacts with the tax authorities representing them at all stages of proceedings and in disputes in front of administrative courts. Damian also provides advice in the area of transfer pricing, including the preparation of transfer pricing documentation.

Damian's other interests include civil, corporate, and accounting law.

Damian graduated from the Jagiellonian University, and from the Kraków University of Economics in 2015.

Damian is a certified tax advisor, and an advocate trainee at the The Warsaw Bar Association.
