Bronwen May leads our Structured Finance & Derivatives practice in Asia, based in our Hong Kong office.

Bronwen provides clients with creative and actionable solutions. Whether structuring an OTC derivative, a debt issuance, or structured product programme, advising on the flood derivative regulations (Dodd-Frank, Volcker, EMIR, the SFO), handling a close out dispute, advising on valuation of bonds or other debt instruments in a stressed, distressed or insolvency situation or handling an enforcement scenario, she and her experienced team provide clear, practical advice in English, Cantonese, Mandarin, and Japanese.

Bronwen has a strong understanding of the Asian markets and cultural nuances, having lived in Asia for 20 years. She has been consistently recognized as a market-leading lawyer for many years. "She has broad experience and is able to tie it all together," a pleased client is quoted as saying in 2018 Chambers Asia-Pacific.
