With broad site contamination and environmental emergencies experience, Brenda uses a balanced approach to solve legal problems while advancing in the protection of the environment and natural resources in a sustainable way. She takes an active role in engaging with regulators and technical experts to discuss projects, build strategies around natural resources, and create consensus that favors a positive balance between protecting the environment and using natural resources responsibly for the benefit of all.

Brenda also counsels clients on environmental permit analysis, due diligence, robust regularization and compliance programs, government relations, and litigation strategy. On litigation matters, Brenda has worked with several industries and stakeholders to defend enforcement actions by federal and state governmental agencies in courts, as well as leading litigation to protect the environment from pollution and over-exploitation.
