Having worked for a boutique intellectual property law firm in Japan for two years, Romain joined Hogan Lovells in 2017 as a professional support lawyer for the intellectual property team.

At Hogan Lovells, Romain deals with developing teaching materials for internal and client training and also monitors legislative, case law and other legal and regulatory developments.

Prior to moving to Japan, Romain spent five years in France as a lawyer where he gained a wealth of experience in commercial litigation, and handled numerous arbitration matters.

Romain has family connections in Japan and he speaks fluent Japanese, English and French.
