Briana Borgolini
Associate Litigation, Arbitration, and Employment
Briana works with clients in a broad range of industries and has experience through all phases of litigation including large-scale document collection and analysis, responding to data requests, conducting witness interviews, and drafting motions. She has handled matters facing the Department of Justice, the Securities and Exchange Commission, and various State Attorneys General. She also has experience working on criminal appeals.
Briana maintains an active pro bono practice and regularly represents victims of domestic violence, victims of violent crimes, and counsels non-profits focused on issues of gender justice.
Early in her career, Briana clerked for the Honorable Joel H. Slomsky of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania. Prior to joining Hogan Lovells, Briana spent four years working in public health and epidemiology.
Briana attended the Villanova University Charles Widger School of Law, where she graduated magna cum laude and served as a Student Works Editor for the Villanova Law Review. Briana earned her Bachelor’s degree from Brown University where she graduated with Honors. While at Brown, she served as a Teaching Assistant and Research Assistant for the School of Public Health. She was also a Division I swimmer who earned First Team and Academic All-Ivy Honors, and competed in the 2012 U.S. Olympic Trials.
