As an associate in our Ulaanbaatar office, Bolormaa Gulguu focuses her practice on general corporate and commercial matters. She advises international clients on mergers and acquisitions, financing, incorporations, employment and other regulatory and compliance matters such as licensing. As a Mongolian national, and having completed her post-graduate education in the UK, Bolormaa understands the needs and expectations of foreign investors and the legal and practical issues they face when doing business in Mongolia.

She is able to anticipate potential challenges and offer practical solutions to complex issues. Prior to joining Hogan Lovells, Bolormaa worked as a human rights lawyer for government and non-governmental organisations in Mongolia. Bolormaa was admitted as a lawyer in Mongolia in 2012 and became an advocate qualified to represent clients in the courts the same year. She speaks English and Mongolian.

Advising foreign investors on various Mongolian legal and regulatory matters.

Advising a major international mining OEM on the disposal of its Mongolian assets to one of its dealers.

Assisting an international precious metals trader in establishing its presence in Mongolia and providing advice on the law on precious metals.
