Andy Bloom counsels the sponsors of a wide range of private investment funds, including private equity, mezzanine, venture capital, hedge funds, and small business investment companies (SBICs). Andy advises these sponsors on the formation, fundraising, management, regulatory compliance, tax, and structuring of their various investment vehicles.

Andy's practice also focuses on advising individuals, institutions, and foreign sovereigns in the negotiation and management of their fund investments.

Prior to law school, Andy was an audit and assurance associate with RSM US LLP (formerly McGladrey LLP) where he advised private and public companies on accounting compliance matters.

While in law school, Andy was the Financial Editor of the Virginia Law & Business Review. Andy also gained valuable experience during his two summers as a summer associate at Hogan Lovells.
