The paper--Consumer Data Privacy in a Networked Word: A Framework for Protecting Privacy and Promoting Innovation in the Global Digital Economy--calls for a consumer privacy bill of rights and industry-developed codes of conduct for protecting privacy. Join our panel of experts, including one of the paper's primary authors, as we summarize, analyze and predict the impact this report will have for businesses in the U.S. and abroad--especially in the EU, where a new framework has recently been introduced.
