Electric Industry Pro Joins Hogan Lovells' Energy Practice
Steven Agresta has joined the firm's Energy practice group as Of Counsel. Steven has more than 30 years of experience in the electric power industry during which he has dealt with virtually all of the issues that have challenged the industry.
Prior to joining Hogan Lovells, Steven served as Executive Vice President-Legal at Entergy Services in which position he was general counsel of Enexus Energy Corporation, a proposed spin-off from Entergy of six existing merchant nuclear units. Since 2010 he has been a consultant to the President of Entergy’s Wholesale Commodity Business. Before joining the senior management team of Entergy he led the Energy Practice Groups at Alston & Bird and at Swidler, Berlin, Shereff, Friedman, where he was a founding partner.
Steven received his A.B. (economics) from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, his S.M. in economics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and his J.D., magna cum laude, from Harvard Law School, where he was a Senior Editor of the Harvard Law Review. He clerked for the Honorable Joseph T. Sneed, U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.
