Don't forget to update your documentation - the FCA to change its address in June

On 2 March, the FCA published its 20th quarterly consultation paper (CP18/6). In CP18/6, the FCA confirmed that it will be changing its two operational locations in London and Edinburgh. The London office will be relocating from 25 The North Colonnade and 1 Canada Square, both in Canary Wharf, to 12 Endeavour Square, Stratford, over the summer of 2018. In connection with the office relocation, the FCA will also change its registered address for the purposes of the Companies Act 2006.

As part of this, the FCA is amending references to its address in the FCA Handbook, with those amendments coming into force in June 2018. This means that any documentation referring to the current FCA address, as required under the FCA Handbook, must be updated to reflect the FCA's new address from June 2018.

There are no transitional provisions and the FCA is consulting on the change for a period of just one month (until 3 April 2018). The FCA's new address can be found here.
