Mariana is an Associate within the Corporate team of Hogan Lovells' Madrid Office, who focuses her practice on domestic and international M&A transactions, corporate reorganisations and general company advice.
Prior to joining the Corporate team, Mariana worked in the Banking & Finance department, where she gained experience on advising clients in a wide variety of corporate financing matters and in particular in the context of M&A transactions and project finance.
Representative experience
Advising Mutua Madrileña on the acquisition of part of the stake of Cygnus Asset Management, SGIIC, S.A., a management company of collective investment institutions.
Advising Bankinter, S.A. on a multijurisdictional restructuring transaction for the purposes of simplifying its corporate structure.
Advising Portwest Group on a multijurisdictional transaction in the acquisition of over 70% of the Fegemu Group, a global manufacturer and distributor of safety footwear.
Regular advice on daily business operations of different companies in corporate, corporate governance, negotiation and private procurement areas, including the Expedia Group, Metrovacesa, S.A., Codere, S.A., Infineum Iberia, S.L. and the Douglas Group.
Advising the ACON Group on the acquisition of the prestigious cosmetics brand Germaine de Capuccini, S.A.
Advising a syndicate of banks on the financing of the company Puy du Fou España, S.A., for the construction of a theme park in Spain.
Advising a major group in the renewable power sector, on an international refinancing transaction.
