Originally from India, raised in Belgium, studied law in the UK and worked in Europe, the Middle East and Asia, Ankita Bhansali brings with her a unique international perspective. 

Ankita has been with us since she was a trainee, having trained in London with an international secondment to Dubai. She holds an LLB degree from the University of Warwick and an LLM in Corporate and Commercial Law from the London School of Economics and Political Science. 

Ankita has experience in advising local and international financial institutions and corporations on both conventional and Islamic finance transactions. With the aim of getting the deal done, Ankita spots potential issues before they become an issue for our clients, looking at the bigger picture and appreciating the commercial and legal dynamics involved. She brings knowledge and experience of working in UK, UAE and Indian markets. 

Ankita speaks Hindi, Gujarati, Hebrew and English.

Advising Dubai Islamic Bank PJSC on an AED500m facility for Arady Developments LLC.

Advising Emirates NBD PJSC on an AED275m bridge and syndicated construction facility.

Advising Deutsche Bank (Suisse) SA on a £20,8m commodity murabaha real estate financing.

Acting for Allana International Limited on term and revolving credit facilities.

Advising Noor Islamic Bank PJSC on a US$100m secured commodity.

Advising Dubai Islamic Bank PJSC on an AED740m ijara facility.
