Dr. Andreas H. Meyer, LL.M. (I.U.)

Andreas H. Meyer advises clients on international and national M&A transactions, corporate restructurings, joint ventures, and all other corporates matters. He has vast experience in representing clients in international and national disputes before state courts, arbitration tribunals and in mediation proceedings. 

Legal publications, as well as others, praise him as "warranting smooth transactions" and as being "intelligent, creative, and energetic". Andreas has assisted our clients in some of the largest transactions affecting the German market, in particular in the energy and media industries. In addition thereto, he has experience in many industries including food, engineering and life sciences. Andreas has represented clients in challenging disputes, in particular, he has successfully defended clients against claims for damages in the three to four digit million Euro range.

He has represented clients in contentious corporate matters, including disputes among partners and shareholders and between a member and the legal entity. Andreas has particular experience in setting up joint ventures and resolving disputes among the parties of joint ventures. He has advised on major joint ventures in the beverage, energy and life sciences industries. 

Andreas studied law at the University of Hamburg; Georgetown University, Washington, D.C.; and Indiana University, Bloomington. He was a lecturer at the University of Hamburg for negotiation skills, international civil procedure and a number of other subjects and an examiner in the first legal state exam at the Higher Regional Court of Hamburg.
