Alison Toivola pinpoints and addresses risk head on, keeping her clients compliant and informed. She represents clients on complex civil litigation matters in both federal and state court, applying her intricate experience with discovery and dispositive motions.

From construction, infrastructure, and energy to insurance and healthcare, clients benefit from Alison's keen insight to industry drivers and nuances. Passionate about her community, Alison is also dedicated to pro bono efforts, providing free legal resources to the Denver community and actively representing numerous clients in asylum and immigration-related matters.

Prior to joining Hogan Lovells, Alison graduated cum laude from The University of Michigan Law School, where she focused her studies on litigation, government regulation, and environmental policy. During law school, Alison completed a full-time externship for the U.S. Department of Justice Environmental Enforcement and Defense Sections. She was also an Articles Editor for the Michigan Journal of Law Reform, Chair of the Michigan Energy Law Association, and served as a judicial intern for Justice Gregory J. Hobbs of the Colorado Supreme Court.
