Alexander Reetz advises on all aspects of patent law and technical copyright law and has extensive experience in patent litigation (infringement and validity proceedings) in various fields of technology, including mobile devices and networks, semiconductors and electronics, robotics, mechanical engineering and software patents. 

Over the past years, Alexander has been acting for major companies of various industries in highly litigious matters before the German Civil Courts, the German Patent Courts and the European Patent Office. He has specific knowledge of procedural matters, the coordination of patent litigation, including cross-border injunctions, evidentiary seizures and border seizures. 

In addition to his litigation work, Alexander also advises on patent strategy and enforcement.     


Representative experience

Representing a Taiwanese mobile device manufacturer in patent litigation matters brought by a famous German NPE.

Representing a famous Taiwanese mobile device manufacturer against a Finnish mobile device manufacturer.

Successfully performing/coordinating global evidence collections and formalizations against non-OEM suppliers of turbocharger spare parts in aid of technical copyright infringement litigation in multiple jurisdictions.
