Practice groupLitigation, Arbitration, and Employment

As a member of our Appellate practice, Kristina Alekseyeva helps clients make their case on appeal in cases involving a wide range of issues, including constitutional law, arbitration, jurisdiction, and others.

She has briefed numerous appeals and dispositive motions in federal and state court at every level, including the Supreme Court. As part of her robust pro bono practice, Kristina challenged the Trump administration's attempt to rollback anti-discrimination protections in the Affordable Care Act, fought to preserve immigrant-friendly standards of review, and advised prison-focused advocacy organizations on litigation strategy.

Kristina attended Stanford Law School, where she received a high pro bono distinction and the David Hunter Award for best claimant's memorandum in the Vis international arbitration moot comprising more than 120 teams from across the world. Before law school, she taught high school and middle school mathematics for two years as a Teach for America Corps Member in Mississippi.
