Alejandro's main areas of focus are structured finance, acquisition finance, project and infrastructure finance, refinancing and restructuring, securitization transactions and debt capital markets deals.

During 2015 Alejandro has been given lectures of International Finance at University Carlos III in Madrid. Alejandro is counsel in the Banking & Finance department of Hogan Lovells' Madrid office.

Alejandro holds a degree in Law and in Business Administration by Universidad Pontificia Comillas (ICADE E-3). From November 2012 to May 2013 Alejandro was secondee to the Hogan Lovells London office.

Prior to joining Hogan Lovells, Alejandro spent his career at Uría Menéndez in their Madrid office.

Advising the Spanish subsidiary of an European bank on the €1,4bn securitisation secured by mortgage loans.
Advising Ford Credit Plc. Spanish Branch on the incorporation of a securitisation fund in Spain.

Advising BBVA in the financing for the acquisition of a international target by a Spanish listed company ($350MM).

Advising WV Finance in the incorporation of a securitisation fund and in the issuance of securitisation bonds for an amount of €723,6M.
Advising a leading technology group for consumer finance in a US$200M consumer loan receivables securitisation.
Advising FCE Bank PLC in the sale of a portfolio of non-performance loans to an international fund.
Advising ING Belgium S.A./N.V. in a multijurisdictional trade receivables programme.
Advising Banco de Sabadell in the financing for the acquisition of certain Spanish pharmaceutical companies by an Irish specialty pharmaceutical company (€57m).
Advising a major financial institution in several transactions for the sale of certain business, assets and liabilities in Spain to Caja Rural Castilla la Mancha.
