Agata Szczepanczyk-Piwek is a legal advisor and joined the Hogan Lovells Warsaw office in 2007. She focuses on structured finance, securitisation, and covered bonds. Her legal practice also concentrates on advising Polish and foreign banks on property, assets, and project financing. Before coming to Hogan Lovells, Agata worked for two competitor legal firms.
Agata graduated with honours from the Faculty of Law and Administration of Warsaw University. She also studied Finance and Banking at the Warsaw School of Economics, and European law at the Faculty of Law of the Erasmus University in Rotterdam. Agata is currently preparing her doctoral thesis in the Banking Law Department of Warsaw University.
