Jonathan Elsasser assists companies in navigating their most complex antitrust issues to achieve their business goals.

Jonathan has experience at all phases of the merger review process and has worked with clients in a variety of industries from health care and life sciences to technology and financial services. He has helped companies by assessing the potential antitrust risk associated with transactions, joint ventures, and non-merger government investigations. He counsels clients regarding compliance with reporting requirements; manages significant document collection, review, and production activities; coordinates with economic and financial experts; responds to voluntary access letters, civil investigative demands, and second requests; and prepares remedial divestiture packages. Jonathan has experience working on matters before the Federal Trade Commission, U.S. Department of Justice, and state attorneys general.

Jonathan also regularly advises clients on antitrust compliance with respect to information sharing protocols and procedures.

He is a member of the American Bar Association (ABA) Antitrust Section and the American Health Lawyers Association. Prior to law school, Jonathan worked as a paralegal on antitrust, environmental, and litigation matters at a Washington, D.C. law firm.
