Andrew Crook advises multinational businesses and private equity firms on a variety of domestic and cross-border transactions and strategic matters.

Andrew's practice is focused on partnering with his corporate clients as they develop and grow.  This enables him to not only provide transaction-specific advice, but also add real value to the wider, more strategic, discussions.

Having worked in the United Kingdom, Asia, Australia and New Zealand, he has a deep knowledge of working across different jurisdictions and the challenges and opportunities this brings.  Andrew understands the different approaches to problems in the major markets and manages international teams effectively and seamlessly for his clients.

Advising a consortium of three U.S.-based international private equity firms on their bid for Anglo American's Queensland coal assets. *

Advising the Mantra Group on its IPO and a number of subsequent capital raises and hotel group acquisitions across Asia and in the United States. *

Advising Intuit Inc. on a number of business acquisitions in Australia, New Zealand and the United Kingdom. *

Advising CHAMP Private Equity on their investment in Bradken Limited (a global mining services company based in Australia). *

Advising a consortium of Riverstone and Cline Group on their proposed acquisition of Australia's largest operating thermal coal mine from Anglo American. *

Advising Carlyle on its proposed take-over of Redflex Limited. *

Advising the founders of Skype on its initial sale to eBay. *

Advising Standard Chartered Private Equity on its investment in Energy World Corporation. *

Advising Gazit-Globe on its acquisition of Meinl Land, a pan-European shopping center business. *
