Christine Borries (née Ede), LL.M. (Sydney)

Christine Borries (née Ede) helps clients in national and international insolvency and restructuring situations. She advises on all aspects of German and international insolvency law, especially in connection with corporate and financial restructurings and bankruptcies. In this context, Christine helps clients to structure transactions and/or agreements in a way that insolvency related risks are excluded or at least mitigated. She further accompanies debtors but also creditors and shareholders through insolvency plan and debtor-in-possession proceedings and is a specialist for insolvency litigation. Christine also has a strong focus on banking and finance transactions.

Christine has published a number of law review articles in German on topics of insolvency law. She is the co-author of one of the most renowned commentaries on the German law of voidable transactions.
