As critical litigations arise, clients turn to Christian Di Mauro for his practical and holistic advice. Christian is an outstanding litigation lawyer – head of the Italian litigation practice and leader of the Italian Life Sciences Group - with a strong focus on product compliance, product liability and general commercial disputes.
He works alongside international and Italian clients on product crisis arising out of safety and quality issues, defending product liability claims, liaising with market surveillance authorities, and handling product related regulatory and criminal investigations.
He has successfully defended clients in mass torts pre-contentious and court claims, as well as in class actions brought by consumers' associations for alleged violation of consumers' laws. Additionally, Christian navigates clients in assessing legal risks, developing liability mitigation strategies and effectively managing mass litigation.
The depth of Christian's experience, which spans more than 20 years, includes advising on matters involving pharmaceuticals, vaccines, medical devices, New Tech products, automotive, industrial equipment, chemicals, and electronic products.

Assistance to a multinational pharma company on tens product liability claims brought by individuals for alleged health damages by drug voluntarily withdrawn from the market.
Assistance to the financial company of a leading multinational automotive group in one of the first and most relevant follow on class action brought by an Italian consumer association.
