As one of the London insurance counsel knowledge lawyers, Sara has over 15 years of experience working as an insurance lawyer. Her last 8 years, she focused on her role as a professional support lawyer, supporting the London team and more recently the international insurance sector. Sara's former years of acting for clients in insurance and reinsurance disputes has given her a firm foundation for her supporting role – both for you and our team.

On a day to day basis, Sara helps our insurance team with practice development and business development. Plugged into the day to day developments in the UK and EU insurance markets, Sara ensures that she keeps us up to date with insurance market knowhow, developments and legislative updates. She is also involved in building and maintaining our relationships with you by being the go-to person for training and knowhow requirements.

Sara also works closely with our global network of insurance lawyers – both contentious and non-contentious. She helps to maintain communications and interactions between our global insurance sector lawyers by, for example, coordinating regular international calls and coordinating an internal insurance sector newsletter. She is also involved in the business development of the international insurance sector. One of the key aspects of Sara's role has been the creation of, and continuing management of our Global Insurance Blog. This one-of-a-kind blog provides topical commentary on international insurance and reinsurance lawyers on key legal issues in today's insurance and reinsurance market.
