Ruth Grant is a partner in the London office specialising in dispute resolution work, particularly in the fields of product liability and professional negligence. Ruth acts for corporate clients, insurers and reinsurers on a variety of contentious product liability, professional indemnity and insurance and reinsurance issues and has represented a number of manufacturing clients in environmental litigation and has considerable experience of judicial review applications.

Ruth has a broad litigation background based on over 25 years experience handling disputes for a variety of commercial clients in the High Court in London and working with US lawyers in proceedings in the US for UK clients. She has a particular interest in issues relating to disclosure/discovery and privilege.

Over recent years Ruth has been extensively involved in tobacco litigation in the UK, the US and in a number of Commonwealth jurisdictions.

Ruth is a co-chair of Hogan Lovells Diversity Committee and chair of the London Committee. Ruth also holds the position of People Development Partner with responsibility for learning and development strategy and delivery.
