Nigel Read is a London partner specialising in corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions, company and securities law. He has a particular focus on transactions in the real estate, retail and leisure industries. He is the partner responsible for Hogan Lovells corporate relationships with real estate clients. He has also acted for a number of major investment banks, including JPMorgan Cazenove, Goldman Sachs and Lazard. He advised SEGRO on its recommended takeover of Brixton, which was one of the largest public real estate transactions in the UK in 2009. Nigel is one of Hogan Lovells senior corporate finance partners and is named as a "legal expert" in corporate, M&A law by Legal Business and a "leader in corporate finance law" by Chambers.
