Hogan Lovells Strengthens Infrastructure and Project Finance Practice in Dubai

DUBAI, 31 January 2012 - Hogan Lovells has strengthened its Middle East infrastructure and project finance practice with the appointment of lawyer Tarek Eltumi in Dubai.

Tarek, an English educated and Libyan qualified lawyer is fluent in both Arabic and English and previously worked for the Libyan National Transitional Council where he was special adviser to the Prime Minister & Foreign Minister, Dr Mahmud Jibril.  Prior to the Libyan uprising, Tarek worked as Corporate Counsel and Assistant Director for AECOM Libya.  Tarek is also a published author on a range of Libyan issues and has most recently been published as co-author of the Libya chapter of the International and Other Bank Guarantees Handbook (published by Kluwer, October 2011).

Working closely with the existing team led by Partners Christopher Cross and Rahail Ali, Tarek will help develop Hogan Lovells' work in Libya and the wider GCC region. 

Commenting on the move, Christopher Cross, who leads the Infrastructure and Project Finance in Dubai said:
