Lindsey Murtagh is an associate in our Washington, D.C. office, advising clients on a broad range of health care matters, including compliance with federal and state fraud and abuse laws, implementation of the Affordable Care Act, and coverage and reimbursement issues with respect to drugs, medical devices and health services.
Prior to joining Hogan Lovells, Lindsey Murtagh worked at Harvard School of Public Health in the Department of Law and Public Health, where she researched and wrote on topics related to law and public health. Research topics included reverse settlements between brand and generic pharmaceutical companies, conflicts of interest in academia, legislation to promote breastfeeding, and issues surrounding medical malpractice. During law school, Lindsey worked as an intern at both the Massachusetts Attorney General's Office in the Health Care Division, and Centers for Disease Control and Prevention in the Public Health Law Program, and participated in the WilmerHale Legal Services Center of Harvard Law School in the Health Law and Policy Clinic.
