Jeff Lolley has nearly 20 years of global experience in all aspects of cybersecurity and is internationally recognized as a top researcher, engineer and leader within the cybersecurity community. He has led programs for multiple Fortune 500 companies and designed security capabilities for some of the U.S. Government’s most critical environments. Through his various roles, Jeff has helped to discover and counter virtually every type of malicious threat to computers and networks. He regularly consults with firm clients on cybersecurity matters such as cyber espionage; computer crime; security architecture; incident response and remediation; and information and cybersecurity risk management and governance. Jeff also leads the internal Information Security program for Hogan Lovells.

Prior to joining Hogan Lovells, Jeff led security programs for Marriott International and AT&T. At Marriott he was responsible for protecting a technology-reliant enterprise with 3,500 worldwide locations and 160,000 employees, processing $12 billion a year in financial transactions. He also led global incident response and electronic fraud investigation at Marriott. While at AT&T, Jeff headed research and development efforts for advanced threat detection and defense technologies; designed highly secure environments for intelligence community clients and corporate customers; created and oversaw managed security service offerings; and led the global incident response organization.

Jeff currently serves as co-chair of the FBI Infragard Cyber Special Interest Group for the Washington DC Region. He previously served on the ANSI X9 standards council for developing a secure financial transactions architecture and co-chaired the Hotel Technology Next Generation working group on cybersecurity. He holds industry certifications as a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) and ISO 27001 Lead Implementer.

In 2011 Jeff was awarded the Information Security Executive of the Year People’s Choice Award for the North East Region and in 2012 was nominated for Information Security Executive of the Decade.
