Eric Stock's practice consists of antitrust and complex commercial litigation matters, with a focus on antitrust litigation, government investigations, and commercial disputes. Eric has particular experience in matters at the intersection of antitrust and intellectual property laws, especially in the pharmaceutical, computer, and telecommunications industries. Eric also regularly handles antitrust issues arising in the automotive and transportation industries. Eric was recently named one of the nation's top ten antitrust "Rising Stars" under the age of 40 by Law360.
Eric frequently represents clients involved in parallel civil and governmental antitrust proceedings. He has recently been involved in several high-profile civil and governmental proceedings relating to alleged anticompetitive conduct in the computer software industry. His recent experience also includes several major price-fixing cases, including In re Air Cargo Shipping Services Antitrust Litig., In re Packaged Ice Antitrust Litig., and In re Parcel Tanker Shipping Services Antitrust Litig.
Eric regularly counsels clients seeking to reduce antitrust risk, particularly where antitrust issues have arisen in connection with a client's defense of its intellectual property rights or IP licensing strategies. Eric has particular experience advising pharmaceutical and high technology clients seeking to structure business practices or transactions (such as patent settlements) to minimize antitrust risk. Eric also regularly counsels automobile manufacturers on antitrust and Robinson-Patman Act issues.
Prior to joining our legal practice, Eric clerked for The Honorable Allen G. Schwartz, U.S. District Judge in the Southern District of New York.

Representation of major international airline in federal class actions alleging anticompetitive activity in the air cargo industry.
Representation of major technology company in a parallel civil and governmental proceedings where competitor alleges that client’s use of its intellectual property rights constitutes unlawful monopolization. Representation of major international chemical conglomerate in grand jury investigation by the Antitrust Division of the U.S. Department of Justice. Representation of pharmaceutical company in investigation by the Federal Trade Commission relating to brand/generic competition issues. Representation of major technology company in obtaining government approval for acquisition of significant competitor. Representation of major automobile manufacturer in connection with antitrust litigation brought by auto parts jobbers and warehouse distributors. Representation of several major chemical companies in damages litigation and arbitrations against participants in the parcel tanker shipping cartel.
