Eric Bukstein is an associate at Hogan Lovells US LLP in the firm's Washington, D.C. office. He advises clients on privacy and information management matters, with a particular focus on health information privacy and health IT. Eric counsels clients on wide variety of issues, including compliance with various privacy laws and regulations such as the FTC Act, the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA), state data breach notification laws, and the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA).
Prior to joining Hogan Lovells, Eric worked as a summer associate for the firm in 2008. While in law school, he was a Contributing Editor for the University of Michigan Journal of Law Reform.
