Reedy concentrates his practice on appeals and excels at translating complicated legal doctrines and factual records into concise, persuasive arguments. He has briefed cases at every level of the federal judiciary, including six Supreme Court merits cases, on diverse subjects including intellectual property, financial services, and administrative law. He has personally argued multiple appellate cases, including a successful multimillion-dollar argument before the Federal Circuit. Reedy also maintains an active pro bono practice, representing clients in civil rights and habeas corpus matters.

Reedy earned his undergraduate and law degrees from the University of Virginia, where he also won the Margaret G. Hyde Award, an award given to an outstanding member of the graduating class. He continued his training as a law clerk to Judge David Tatel (D.C. Circuit), Judge Toby Heytens (Fourth Circuit), and Judge Leonie Brinkema (Eastern District of Virginia).
