In this article, Jaime Rodriguez-Toquero and Ivan Pico assess the ECJ's judgment Ormaetxea Garai and Lorenzo Almendros (19 October 2016) regarding the independence requirement of National Regulatory Authorities, in particular in the context of institutional reform.
