Hogan Lovells Expands Vietnam Practice with Senior Hire

HANOI, 21 September 2015 – Hogan Lovells has announced that Quynh-Anh Lam joins its Vietnam practice today as Counsel in the Hanoi office.

Quynh-Anh joins from Mayer Brown JSM and has more than 10 years' experience working in Vietnam, having also spent two years in the London office of an international law firm. Quynh-Anh has extensive experience advising multinational corporations and project developers on all aspects of foreign direct investment and M&A in Vietnam, including in the energy, power and natural resources sector.

Quynh-Anh's recruitment follows the high profile hire of Samantha Campbell in April 2015 as head of the firm's Vietnam practice, and corporate partner Jeff Olson in October 2014. Her appointment also signifies the firm's continued investment in the Vietnam practice, with offices in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City, and in South East Asia more broadly.

Samantha said:
"Growing our Vietnam practice is central to Hogan Lovells' development strategy in the region. We are delighted to have recruited a lawyer of Quynh-Anh's calibre, who has substantial experience working in Vietnam and internationally. Bilingual in Vietnamese and English, her arrival will greatly complement our offering on the ground."

Quynh-Anh added:
"Hogan Lovells' growing presence in Vietnam and extensive coverage across Asia provides the ideal platform for me to work on projects in Vietnam as well as cross-border transactions in the region. I look forward to working with the team in Vietnam and with the firm's impressive network of regional and international clients."
