Hogan Lovells is pleased to announce that London planning partner Michael Gallimore will be leading the firm's Legal Services Centre (LSC) in Birmingham from January 2017.  Alan Greenough, who set up the LSC at beginning of 2015, and has been managing it since launch, will be retiring from Hogan Lovells at the end of 2016.  As the LSC continues to go from strength to strength, the firm intends to grow the LSC in 2017 and beyond.

Michael Gallimore commented: "The LSC is one element of our wide range of Legal Service Delivery options at Hogan Lovells and it is proving to be a valuable addition to our client offering.  By carrying out some elements of our work in a lower cost location, the LSC has allowed us to reduce the overall cost to our clients on some projects whilst continuing to maintain the high quality for which we are known.  We expect demand to continue to increase and the type of work that we carry out in Birmingham to evolve as we work with clients on new ways of delivering legal services innovatively and cost- effectively."

Susan Bright, regional managing partner for the UK and Africa, added:

"Our Legal Services Centre provides creative, flexible and cost-effective solutions for our clients and has made a real difference to how we run some of our most significant matters or portfolio of matters for a number of our key clients.  I am very grateful to Alan for establishing our LSC and ensuring that the high quality for which Hogan Lovells is known is maintained.  I am delighted that Michael Gallimore will be taking over the mantle from Alan when he retires at the end of the year."

Alan will be transitioning leadership of the LSC to Michael over the next couple of months and from January 2017 Michael will base himself in Birmingham.  Michael will continue with his work for clients, in collaboration with the rest of the UK planning team.
