Ranked as a ‘Leading Individual’ by Legal 500 UK, Aline Doussin advises companies, sovereign governments, and trade bodies on the full range of international trade law and policy issues, including export control, sanctions, anti-money laundering, customs, trade compliance, trade remedies, and anti-corruption.

Aline advises companies on other EU regulatory and cybersecurity and data compliance issues, and on the interaction of trade and human rights laws. She also advises companies on French contract and consumer laws and assists them on formulating and articulating their policy positions before the EU Institutions and the French government.

Aline is advising companies and trade associations on all Brexit-related issues, preparing them for the challenges and opportunities that Brexit brings, assisting them on all their trade-law related needs, and helping them anticipate the upcoming customs challenges.

A former consultant at the World Trade Organization (WTO), Aline worked closely with the Director General and was involved in WTO negotiations and advised on investments, IPRs, competition, and public procurement.

Aline speaks regularly on international trade and compliance issues and has published a number of articles on trade, EU law, and other regulatory topics.
