David Isbell has spent his entire career practicing in commercial real estate. Since 1988, David has witnessed first-hand the various economic cycles and real estate climates this industry has endured, and he understands the business strategies and structures needed to respond to the changing dynamics.

David prides himself on not only identifying risks and issues, but more importantly on fashioning creative solutions to address and overcome the issues. David is recognized among his colleagues as a "deal maker" rather than a "deal breaker." David is also intimately aware that, in the real estate industry, "time kills deals." Therefore, David works tirelessly to quickly and efficiently conclude transactions before the situation or business climates can change.

David has worked extensively in virtually all facets of commercial real estate, including sales and acquisitions, commercial and residential subdivision, zoning and entitlements, office, retail and industrial leasing, and real estate secured financing and debt restructures. He also has widespread experience in resort developments, restrictive covenants and covenanted communities, and golf course development and management, as well as in the formation of corporations, limited liability companies, limited partnerships, and other business structures necessary to conduct real estate transactions.

David is a "hands on" lawyer who understands, anticipates, and meets his clients' business and real estate needs. He makes his clients' concerns and problems his own concerns and problems. He is a team player who is there for his clients when they need him. David has been recognized throughout Colorado as one of the leading real estate lawyers in the state; he is also licensed in California.
