Wiktor Rustecki
I am in my final year of law studies, during which I was particularly interested in insurance regulations. I decided to apply for an intern position in Hogan Lovells' Financial Institution Group practice. Since my qualifications and knowledge met the requirements of the department's Partner, I was invited to join Hogan Lovells in February 2017. I think that the thing I value the most in my work is the extensive feedback and support I receive from all members of the team. Advising global market actors can be a very challenging task; however this becomes much easier with the practical knowledge I have obtained thanks to the cooperation with the best professionals in this area. This level of expertise is hard to find in the courses at a university, or even during legal training.

Since February 2017 I have worked on several cases, mostly connected to the insurance market, including due diligences, preparing contracts, and providing advice and reports to clients. The training program at Hogan Lovells is top-notch. The firm has managed to create good conditions for the self-development of young lawyers by sharing the expertise of more experienced lawyers. Every day I enjoy the atmosphere of work in Hogan Lovells and I am proud to be a part of the team which is one of the best in its specialization.
