Representative experience

Advised Sojitz Corporation on its joint venture with Braskem S.A. to produce and market bioMEG (monoethylene glycol) and bioMPG (monopropylene glycol).

Advised Covestro AG on the sale of its additive manufacturing business to US-Israeli Stratasys Group.

Advising PPG on its US$1.15bn acquisition of Ennis‑Flint and in the US$2.3bn acquisition of paint and coating manufacturer Consorcio Comex, S.A. de C.V.

Represented PPG Industries in a multi-year patent infringement dispute against Sherwin-Williams Co. over beverage can coatings.

Secured a major win for BASF in one of the largest patent disputes in the U.S. involving 350 claims from 17 patents and five different patent families.

Advised Mabanaft GmbH & Co KG in a joint venture with Starwood Energy Group to non-recourse project financing for Gulf Coast Ammonia to build its world-scale anhydrous ammonia plant in Texas.

Advising sponsors on the development of a process plant and associated infrastructure for production of sugar, potable ethanol and power in Sri Lanka.

Advised BASF on combining its paper and water chemicals business with U.S. specialty chemical company Solenis.
